FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, May 20, 2025 — In a strategic step to improve the quality of education and development of graduate competencies, the Physiotherapy Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) in collaboration with the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Esa Unggul University officially launched the Joint Physiotherapy Curriculum program. This program is a collaborative innovation that integrates academic excellence and resources from both institutions to produce professional physiotherapists who are superior, adaptive, and ready to face the challenges of the ever-evolving world of health.
This Joint Curriculum is designed to enrich students' learning experiences through the integration of teaching materials, learning methods, and complementary cross-campus clinical practices. With this synergy, students will gain broader insights, qualified technical skills, and interprofessional competencies that are greatly needed in modern health services.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPNVJ stated, "This collaboration opens up great opportunities for the development of human resources in the field of physiotherapy, strengthening academic networks, and improving the quality of our graduates so that they are able to compete at the national and international levels."
This Joint Curriculum activity is also expected to become a model for innovative and sustainable higher education partnerships, which not only improve the quality of learning, but also support joint research and community service in the field of physiotherapy.
