FIKES UPNVJ - Depok - The Nursing Study Program, Diploma III Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, has once again demonstrated its commitment to maintaining the quality of learning evaluation by holding a preparatory meeting for the implementation of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for Level I and II students. The meeting took place on Monday, April 29, 2025 online on the zoom meetings platform and was attended by the Study Program Coordinator and Secretary, OSCE Coordinator for courses, and several lecturers implementing the OSCE.
OSCE is a clinical skills evaluation method that focuses on students' performance abilities in case-based practice scenarios. In the meeting, it was decided that the implementation of SOCA-OSCE Level II will take place on May 13-16, 2025. Meanwhile, OSCE Level I will take place on June 10-11, 2025 before the capping day on June 12, 2025. The questions and assessment rubrics are arranged based on learning outcomes (Student Learning Outcomes) and adjusted to the academic level of each level, collected no later than May 6, 2025.
Meanwhile, coordination between the technical and laboratory teams is also focused on the completeness of tools, materials, and room readiness, which are targeted to be ready at least one day before implementation.
With this standardized and systematic evaluation, it is hoped that students will not only be trained in cognitive aspects, but also have reliable and measurable clinical skills. OSCE is one of the real forms of implementing a competency-based curriculum in the Nursing Study Program, Diploma Three Program, FIKES UPNVJ.
