Discussion on Collaboration with University of Canberra towards Internationalization

FIKES UPNVJ - The Faculty of Health Sciences participated in a discussion activity on cooperation between the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta and the University of Canberra, Australia. The activity was held online on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The activity was attended by Prof. Lorne Cummings as Head of Canberra Business School; Mr. Ben Freyens as Head of Canberra School of Politics, Economics and Society; Mr. Raymond Li as Associate Professor of Economics; Ms. Jennifer Weller-Newton as Professor of Nursing, and Mr. Yogi Vidyattama as Associate Professor of Canberra School. Meanwhile, UPNVJ was represented by Mr. Dr. Bambang Susanto, M.A. as Head of KUI along with KUI staff and interns; Mrs. Rita Ismail, Ph. D as Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FIKES; Mrs. Dr. Apriningsih, SKM as Head of Public Health Department; Mr. Muh. as a lecturer in Nutrition Science; Mrs. Dr. Miguna Astuti, MM., MOS., as Head of Sub KUI FEB; and Mrs. Dr. dr. Muttia as Sespordi Biomedical Science Study Program Masters Program.

Forms of cooperation that are expected to be implemented include lecturer and student exchanges, joint research projects, community services, and scientific publication collaboration. Funding from KONEKSI and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Australia is expected to be financial support for cooperation with the University of Canberra. The existence of this cooperation discussion is expected to support the vision and mission of UPNVJ and FIKES to become international quality universities and faculties.
