KSMI An-Nahl "Social Service for Orphanages: Emulating the Characteristics of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW"

FIKES UPNVJ - The name of this activity is Community Service for the Orphanage, Young Members of KSMI An-Nahl, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta in 2024. The theme of this activity is "Emulating the Traits of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW: The Morals and Traits of Abdullah bin Abbas, and the Spirit in Seeking Knowledge.". Community Service for the Orphanage is one of a series of activities for the 2024 KSMI An-Nahl Young Member Training. This activity aims to increase knowledge and morals through the story of the struggle of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely Abdullah bin Abbas by raising awareness to believe in and love the Quran, increasing knowledge and understanding through the stories of the companions, and fostering motivation to know and emulate the traits of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

The Community Service for the Orphanage: Emulating the Traits of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 offline at the Mizan Amanah Krukut Orphanage for Orphans & Dhuafa. This activity was attended by 42 participants consisting of orphanage children, speakers, mentors, and committees. This event lasted for two hours, starting with an opening by the MC, singing the song Indonesia Raya and the National Defense March, reading of the holy verses of the Koran by the Committee. Continued with speeches, the first speech was delivered by Muhammad Azzura as the Chairperson of the 2024 Orphanage Social Service. The second speech was delivered by Imam Syafe'i as the General Chairperson of KSMI An-Nahl followed by a speech delivered by Mrs. Ns. Nourmayansa Vidya Anggraini, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom as the supervisor of KSMI An-Nahl. And the last was a speech from the Mizan orphanage.

The event was continued with an explanation of the series of orphanage social service activities by the MC, then the MC began reading the speakers' CVs and guided the main event, namely the delivery of material by Riefqa Naufalia Hanifah as the Speaker and continued with a quiz session. After that, the Chairperson of the Executive Board handed over certificates to the Speakers. Next, an ice breaking session was held in the form of games for the children of the orphanage, then prizes were given to the three best participants, and continued with the provision of assistance by the Chief Executive to the Mizan Orphanage. This activity was closed by the MC with photo documentation and a joint prayer.
