FIKES UPNVJ - AHATAN: National Health Day 2024 has been held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 offline at S.A.J.A. School, Penjaringan, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta. This event has a theme, namely "GELANG: A Brilliant Step for Brilliant Nutrition". The general purpose of this activity is to commemorate and celebrate National Health Day 2024 by organizing counseling on strategies to increase nutritional intake for school-age children.
The special objectives are to provide information, increase knowledge, and skills about strategies to support the growth and development of school-age children, invite student representatives of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Undergraduate Program to participate more directly in humanitarian activities through donations and educational volunteers, and increase knowledge about the importance of brushing teeth in the right way after eating. The AHATAN: National Health Day (HKN) 2024 activity was attended by elementary school-age children at S.A.J.A. School, North Jakarta. This event was guided by the Master of Ceremony (MC), namely Raeesah Wahlullizar and Rifa Neisya Azalia Putri.
The event began with the opening and reading of prayers by the MC. Then remarks by the Chief Executive, Rismauli Romaito Sinaga, followed by remarks from Muhammad Raihan Hanif as Chairman of the UPNVJ 2024/2025 Public Health Student Association (HMKM) and Mr. Reinhard Hutabarat as the Principal of S.A.J.A.. Then, the division of volunteer groups and introduction sessions. The next event was a pretest led by the MC and school children accompanied by their respective mentors (volunteers). The next session was the presentation of introductory material on "Increasing Nutritional Intake of School Children" and the screening of the video "Correct Toothbrushing Procedures". Then it was filled with games as an entertainer and bonding with the children of S.A.J.A., North Jakarta.
Then followed by health screening activities, including height, weight, and tension checks guided by the committee and volunteers. Next was the presentation, prayer, group photo, and ended with the distribution of souvenirs for S.A.J.A. school children, North Jakarta.
