An-Nahl Class “Building Character of Leaders Based on Islamic Values”

FIKES UPNVJ - The name of this activity is An-Nahl Class KSMI An-Nahl Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta in 2024. The theme of this activity is "Building the Character of Leaders Based on Islamic Values". An-Nahl Class is one of a series of activities of the Human Resources Empowerment Division of KSMI An-Nahl's work program. This activity aims to foster a spirit of leadership, especially in the An-Nahl Class participants, namely young members of KSMI An-Nahl for the 2024 period.

The An-Nahl Class 2024 activity was held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 offline at the Al-Fikri Mosque, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Limo Campus. This activity was attended by 38 participants consisting of Young Members of KSMI An-Nahl in 2024. This event lasted for 7 hours which began with the opening and reading of the rules of procedure by the MC, reading of the holy verses of the Koran by the Committee. Continued with speeches, the first speech was delivered by Muhammad Agil Syahputra as the Chief Executive of An-Nahl Class 2024. The second speech was delivered by Imam Syafe'i as the General Chairperson of KSMI An-Nahl 2024/2025.

The event continued with the reading of the CV of the speaker, namely Alfani Ghutsa Daud, then the presentation of the first material regarding the characteristics of a leader and the skills of a leader and continued with a question and answer session. After that, ice breaking was carried out, which was continued with ISHOMA, continued with the presentation of the Grand Design of KSMI An-Nahl, after which the presentation of the second material was carried out, namely a case study on leadership and continued with a question and answer session.

At the end of the event, the participants were directed to an An-Nahl Class assignment and the formation of the An-Nahl Class group. This activity ended with a prayer and closing by the MC.

Leadership is defined as the ability, tendency, and desire to guide, inspire, and influence others towards a common goal. Effective leaders serve and protect others, build trust, and drive positive change in their communities.

Leaders often express their aspirations and beliefs about their leadership abilities, emphasizing their commitment to making a positive impact on society and inspiring others, such as through social media platforms like Instagram.

Leaders are encouraged to adopt a variety of strategies when faced with challenges:

Engagement: Meeting with team members to understand the problem without assigning blame.
Quick Solutions: Involving more experienced members to help overcome obstacles.
Delegation: Reassigning tasks that can be completed quickly to keep projects on track.
Transparency: Communicating challenges and proposed solutions honestly to supervisors.
Appreciation: Acknowledging team efforts after completion to foster motivation and
