FIKES UPNVJ – Pada Kamis, 5 Desember 2024, Pukul 9.15 WIB/Pukul 10.15 Waktu Malaysia, telah diselenggarakan Perkuliahan Kelas Besar tentang Amalan Perkilangan Baik atau Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) sebagai bentuk kolaborasi nyata antara Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat Program Sarjana (PSKMPS) UPN “Veteran” Jakarta dan Pusat Pengajian Kesihatan dan Keselamatan Persekitaran Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia (UiTM). Dari pihak UiTM, Dr. Siti Norashikin binti Mohamad Shaifuddin berperan sebagai moderator serta Dr. Megat Azman bin Megat Mokhtar dan Puan Siti Elyza binti Mohd Isa sebagai pembicara. Dari pihak PSKMPS UPNVJ, Dr. Fajaria Nurcandra dan Arga Buntara hadir sebagai dosen pengampu Mata Kuliah Higiene dan Sanitasi Makanan. Partisipan perkuliahan ini adalah mahasiswa dari UiTM dan mahasiswa Semester V Peminatan Kesehatan Lingkungan UPNVJ.
Dr. Megat Azman membawakan materi perkuliahan inti mengenai GMPs, sedangkan Puan Siti Elyza membagikan pengalaman beliau mengenai implementasi GMPs di industri perhotelan di Malaysia. Sesi ini dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi yang menjadi wadah antusiasme para mahasiswa Peminatan Kesehatan Lingkungan. Perkuliahan diakhiri dengan sesi sambutan dan kesimpulan ringan dari perwakilan UiTM dan PSKMPS UPNVJ.
Kolaborasi antara PSKMPS UPNVJ dan UiTM telah berlangsung sejak tahun 2021. Diharapkan kolaborasi dan kerja sama ini terjalin semakin kuat dan turut menjadi simbol persaudaraan bukan hanya antara UPNVJ dan UiTM, melainkan juga bagi Republik Indonesia dan Kerajaan Malaysia. [AB]
