HIMFIS: Mentored Village Period 6 “Joint Exercise, Healthy Village: Towards an Active and Productive Society”

FIKES UPNVJ – A series of activities for the Fostered Village were held by the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta on Sunday, August 25, 2024, which was held offline in Cinere Village with the theme "Joint Exercise, Healthy Village: Towards an Active and Productive Society”.

The 2024 Fostered Village activity is one of the work programs held by the Department of Social Affairs which aims to foster and provide better health services to residents in villages/sub-districts that need to be fostered and developed so that they can feel the direct impact of the health services provided by Physiotherapy students of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta for 8 consecutive months. The activity was carried out in the form of counseling by serving the community.

On Sunday, August 25, 2024, the activity took place offline in Cinere Village. The event started at 15.20 WIB. This activity was attended by 29 participants, female cadres from villagers on Jalan Bumi Ismaya RT 02/07 No.28 Cinere. This activity was guided by Janika Triadita as the host who is an Active Physiotherapy Student of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2023. Then this activity began with an opening by the MC, singing the song Indonesia Raya, remarks by the Head of the Foster Village Executive, and remarks by the Head of HIMFIS. After that, it was continued with a joint exercise session led by Mutia Ramis and Calista Sukma Nurfadiah who are Active Physiotherapy Students of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2023. Then it was continued with joint exercise led by instructors from representatives of residents in Cinere Village. After that, a cool-down and closing by the exercise instructor. The benefits of the Foster Village Activity are to introduce the Physiotherapy Study Program, especially the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as a forum for health promotion, and to provide participants with the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the importance of digitalization through health service applications for mothers at integrated health posts in the Cinere sub-district. The end of the 2024 Foster Village activity will be published on the social media of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
