FIKES UPNVJ - On Thursday, April 25 2024, Community Service was carried out with the title "Creating the Golden Generation 2045 through the Physical Literacy Movement Anti Lazy Movement (MAGER) at the Indonesian Master's School" by lecturers and students of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Faculty of Health Sciences. This activity was carried out at the Indonesian Master School, Depok, West Java. This event was attended by Mrs. Farahdina Bachtiar, S.Ft, Physio, M.Sc, AIFO, Mr. Agustiyawan, SST.FT, M.Fis, Ftr, AIFO, Mr. Heri Wibisono, AMd.FT, S.Pd, MSi, AIFO , Mr. Andi Kurniawan, S.Sos, M.Si, as well as students from the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Physiotherapy Study Program Undergraduate Program.
Participants in this event consisted of 6th grade students at the Indonesian Master School Elementary School. This activity aims to increase the physical literacy of children and adolescents and encourage their awareness of carrying out physical activities for health. Master School (Terminal Mosque) is an educational institution that provides free services for street children, underprivileged families, scavengers, buskers, and the like.
This community service activity is supported by the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM). This activity started at 07.30 am with the opening and singing of the song Indonesia Raya, followed by remarks by Mrs. Farahdina Bachtiar, S.Ft, Physio, M.Sc, AIFO as Chair of Community Service and Mrs. Lianti, S.PD.I as Principal of the School SD Master Indonesia. After that, the next activities consisted of filling out a physical literacy screening form, checking body weight and height, completing a pre-test by participants and continued with providing material by Mrs. Farahdina Bachtiar and Mr. Agustiyawan. The next event consisted of completing a post-test by participants, gymnastics and games, and ended with closing.
