FIKES UPNVJ - 12 MBKM ABN Batch II students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Undergraduate Education Study Program, have carried out a project to make Processed Used Cooking Oil (OMJ) soap in one of the Madrasas in Tanjungsari Village, RT.13. This activity will take place on Wednesday, October 4 2023 and the evaluation stage will be carried out on Monday, October 9 2023.
This activity was attended by all MBKM ABN Batch II students, RT.13 mothers, and 30 RT.13 residents. The aim of holding this activity is so that the people of RT.13 can use used cooking oil and pandan leaves to make soap so that the household waste produced is reduced.
This activity begins with participant registration, opening of the activity, welcoming speech from RT.13 lady, welcoming speech from the chief executive, welcoming speech from the chairman of MBKM ABN S1 Nursing 2023, carrying out the pre-test, distributing tools and materials to participants, explaining the purpose of the activity, demonstration of making oil-based soap. cooking cooking, observation of participants' dough results, post-test work and participant satisfaction questionnaires, group photos and closing of activities.
By holding this activity to make Processed Used Cooking Oil (OMJ) soap, it is hoped that it will increase public knowledge about utilizing household waste, one of which is used cooking oil.
