Pengabdian Masyarakat 2023 Text Neck And Forward Head Posture In Modern Society: How Can Physiotherapy Help?

FIKES UPNVJ - On Wednesday, October 11 2023, the 2023 Community Service activity was held with the theme "Text Neck and Forward Head Posture in Modern Society: How Can Physiotherapy Help?" which is a work program of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program Student Association (HISFO) for the 2023/2024 period which will be implemented at SMAN 3 Jakarta, South Jakarta. This activity was carried out to increase the insight of SMAN 3 Jakarta students regarding posture problems that occur and to know how to treat them. This event was attended by 50 students of SMAN 3 Jakarta.

This event started at 09.30 WIB and finished at 13.00 WIB. The event began with participant registration and then participants filled out the pre-test and questionnaire. Next, the event was opened by the MC, which was then continued with reading prayers, singing the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Bela Negara, as well as speeches. The first speech was by Adinda Niken Ayu as Chief Executive of Community Service 2023, followed by remarks by Aqilla Adriani as Chair of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program Student Association (HISFO), followed by remarks by Mrs. Fidyatul Nazhira, S.Fis, Ftr, M.Fis, AIFO as Representatives of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Physiotherapy Lecturers, and continued with remarks by Mrs. Rita Hastuti as Principal of SMAN 3 Jakarta. This was followed by a group photo session and the presentation of certificates and IA collaboration.

The next event was the presentation of the material "Text Neck and Forward Head Posture in Modern Society: How Can Physiotherapy Help?" by Mrs. Risa Kusuma Anggraeni, S.ST., M.Biomed, and continued by completing the post-test and checking Height, Weight and Posture for students at SMAN 3 Jakarta. Then it was continued with an intervention session given by Mrs. Risa Kusuma Anggraeni, S.ST., M.Biomed accompanied by Ivan and Jihan as D3 Physiotherapy students in the form of a tapping and stretching exercise demo for the neck. The event closed by giving door prizes to 2 participants who were active during the activity. Overall the event went well and smoothly. (FCSA)
