FIKES UPNVJ - The implementation of the Wound Nursing Work Program activities organized by students of the Merdeka Belajar Campus Merdeka Actualization of National Defense (MBKM ABN) Nursing Study Program Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta in Tanjungsari Village, Tanjungsari District, Jonggol. This activity has a series of activities in the form of an assessment of residents' homes with the criteria for having grade 1-2 diabetes wounds and continues with the implementation of wound care. The assessment activity took place over 2 days, namely Monday, 18 September 2023 and Tuesday, 03 October 2023. The assessment resulted in 3 patients, namely Mr. I, Mrs. R and Mrs. K who will then be given wound care. Then, the implementation of wound care was carried out on Wednesday, October 11 2023. In its implementation, this activity was accompanied by 1 representative from the village and 1 representative of cadres in Tanjungsari Village. The purpose of holding this activity is as a form of providing education and free health services for patients suffering from diabetes mellitus wounds in Tanjungsari Village with supervision by Field Supervisors and ABN Puska Supervisors.

This activity begins by explaining the purpose of the activity and providing informed consent, carrying out a holistic assessment, assessing the wound, preparing tools and then implementing wound care.

By holding this Wound Nursing Work Program activity, it is hoped that the public will better understand the importance of diabetic wound care. Apart from that, with this program, it is hoped that the next MBKM ABN students will be able to continue this work program to reach more people who have diabetes wounds to support the welfare and recovery of patients in Tanjungsari Village, Jonggol, Kab. Bogor, West Java.
