Community Service: "Formation and Training of Disease Response Cadres in the Community"

FIKES UPNVJ - The task of the Lecturer is to carry out the Tridharma of Higher Education. One of the tridharma of higher education is implementing Community Service. This activity was carried out by a lecturer in the Nursing Study Program, Bachelor program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jakarta Veterans National Development University, namely Ns. Serri Hutahaean, M.Kep., Ns. Nourmayansa Vidya Anggraini, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom. In addition, it was also attended by students from the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program, namely Vionita Apriliana, Bonieta Dwi Lestari, and Zhafirah Zhafarina.
Community service activities were carried out on Saturday, 10 June 2023 at RT 005/ RW 005, Pasir Putih Village, Sawangan Depok. The title of this activity is: "Formation and Training of Disease Response Cadres in the Community". This Community Service aims to form health cadres who are trained to be able to mobilize the community to participate in community empowerment in the health sector. This activity began with remarks from the Head of the RT, then Selection of 10 Cadres, followed by Presentation of Cadre Training Materials, Practice of washing hands, weighing, wearing and taking off masks, as well as Evaluation and closed by representatives from the Pasir Putih Village.

It is hoped that by holding this Community Service activity, the Cadres can carry out their duties and functions in improving public health, so that people can live healthy and avoid disease.
