FIKES UPNVJ – Pada tanggal 19 Desember 2024, Andy Sirada, S.S.T., M.Fis Dosen Program Studi Fisioterapi FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta melakukan Bedah Buku Penyakit Muskuloskeletal yang ditulis bersama-sama dengan dosen lainnya. Bedah buku ini dihadiri oleh 21 orang peserta terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa. Salah satu Penyakit Muskuloskeletal adalah Myasthenia Gravis, yaitu penyakit autoimun yang menyerang neuromuscular junction dan menyebabkan kelemahan otot. Penyakit ini membutuhkan pendekatan multidisiplin, termasuk terapi fisik untuk mempertahankan fungsi otot. Terapi fisik sebagai bagian dari penatalaksanaan penyakit ini adalah dengan latihan intensitas ringan hingga sedang, istirahat yang cukup, penyesuaian program latihan dengan tingkat keparahan penyakit dan kapasitas individu dan latihan pernapasan.
