Education And Soft Skill #2 “Critical Thinking: Be Smart, Be Comprehensive, And Reach Your Own Decisions”

FIKES UPNVJ – Pada Minggu, 31 Oktober 2020 telah dilaksanakan rangkaian acara Education and Soft Skill  #2 dengan tema “Critical Thinking: be Smart, be Comprehensive, and Reach Your Own Decisions” yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa UPN Veteran Jakarta. Kegiatan Education and Soft Skill merupakan salah satu program kerja yang diadakan oleh Departemen Akademik yang bertujuan untuk mendukung peningkatan akreditasi Program Studi Fisioterapi Diploma Tiga, Memberikan wadah dalam bentuk kelas khusus mengenai minat dan bakat dengan menghadirkan narasumber, mengasah berpikir kritis mahasiswa, mahasiswa dapat mengambil keputusan dengan baik, mahasiswa dapat memahami sudut pandang orang lain.

Kegiatan berlangsung pada pukul 13.30 hingga 17.30 WIB melalui aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, terdapat 2 narasumber yang dihadirkan sebagai pembicara sangatlah luar biasa dan menarik yaitu Dra Rosnalisa, M.Psi, Cht Psikolog selaku dosen dan konselor UPN Veteran Jakarta, lalu Ika Nurlaili Isnainiyah, S.Kom., M.Sc., selaku dosen program studi D3 sistem informasi UPN Veteran Jakarta.

Seminar Nasional Fisioterapi ini dihadiri oleh mahasiswa/i dari Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Pembangunan Veteran Jakarta dan juga dari luar Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Pembangunan Veteran Jakarta. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pembukaan dan pembacaan tata tertib oleh MC, sambutan Ketua Pelaksana Education and Soft Skill, sambutan Ketua Himpunan Mahasiswa Fisioterapi (HIMFIS), sambutan Kepala Program Studi Diploma Tiga,

Sambutan Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan UPN Veteran Jakarta dilanjutkan dengan foto bersama oleh seluruh panitia dan peserta, pemaparan materi oleh narasumber beserta sesi tanya jawan dan diakhiri dengan penutupan oleh MC.

Pada pemaparan sesi I, dimoderatori oleh Condrowati, S.Fis., M.Sc. Pemaparan materi disampaikan oleh Dra Rosnalisa, M.Psi, Cht Psikolog yang membahas mengenai berpikir kritis. Menurut beliau keterampilan dasar merupakan latihan – latihan untuk mencoba berpikir kritis. Setiap informasi harus dicerna dahulu. Orang yang berpikir kritis adalah orang yang mau mencoba untuk belajar, tahu apa yang harus dilakukan atau berpikir sebelum membuat keputusan. Pentingnya untuk berpikir kritis, guna membangun untuk bisa berpikir jernih dan sistematis, mengevaluasi ide – ide baru dan memodifikasinya, serta tidak mudah tertipu. Berpikir kritis bersifat universal atau semua orang perlu berpikir secara kritis. Karna penting untuk refleksi diri Meta-Thinking skill, melakukan refleksi dalam kehidupan sehari – hari dan mengevaluasi diri.

Pada pemaparan sesi II, dimoderatori kembali oleh Condrowati, S.Fis., M.Sc. Pemaparan materi disampaikan oleh Ika Nurlaili Isnainiyah, S.Kom., M.Sc.  yang membahas mengenai critical thinking. Beliau mengatakan bahwa critical thinking itu lebih dekat kita sebut “state of mind” berarti maksudnya seseorang itu ketika berada dalam posisi critical thinking artinya pemikirannya siap, pemikirannya siap untuk bisa mengklarifikasi kebenaran yang ada. Beliau juga menyampaikan Inherited beliefs adalah kepercayaan yang diturunkan atau turun temurun dari orang tua yang mempercayai sesuatu. Critical thinking itu bisa dimulai dengan banyak membaca dan menulis, critical thinking itu adalah habits atau proses dan kita tidak bisa tiba tiba menjadi orang yang berpikir kritis karena perlu banyak membiasakan diri menulis dan membaca banyak informasi.

Manfaat dari Education and Soft Skill #2 adalah untuk mendapatkan pembekalan materi mengenai berpikir kritis agar peserta seminar dapat mengambil keputusan dengan tepat. Selain itu peserta seminar juga mendapatkan pengalaman dan relas. Dan hasil kegiatan Education and Soft Skill #2 akan dipublikasikan di sosial media Himpunan Mahasiswa Fisioterapi.
