Jumat, 6 September 2019 – Telah dilaksanakan kegiatan Pelatihan ASI Eksklusif Melalui Media Film Edukasi Terhadap Peningkatan Pengetahuan Kader Posyandu. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan di Posyandu Anyelir, wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Sukmajaya, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat. Kegiatan yang melibatkan lintas fakultas ini diketuai oleh Bapak Taufik Maryusman S.Gz., M.Pd., M.Gz selaku Dosen Program Studi S-1 Ilmu Gizi Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan yang beranggotakan Bapak Firdaus Noor, S.Ikom., M.Ikom selaku Dosen Prodi S-1 Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik.
Kegiatan Pelatihan ASI Eksklusif Melalui Media Film Edukasi dilatar belakangi karena rendahnya cakupan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di masyarakat yang salah satu penyebabnya akibat kurangnya pengetahuan ibu terhadap pentingnya pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Kader posyandu menjadi salah satu stakeholder yang dekat dengan masyarakat, oleh sebab itu nantinya diharapkan dapat turut serta membantu dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu terhadap pentingnya pemberian ASI pada bayi kurang dari 6 bulan. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, selain dihadiri oleh para kader juga dihadiri oleh ibu menyusui yang juga sebagai salah satu sasaran utama dalam film edukasi ini. (penulis Dara)
Rangkaian acara kegiatan yang dilaksanakan meliputi pemberian materi pentingnya ASI secara singkat, dilanjutkan dengan menonton film bersama, dan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab. Selain itu, para peserta juga diminta untuk mengisi tes sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung. Tes dilakukan sebagai salah satu indikator dalam mengukur perubahan pengetahuan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan cenderung tidak kondusif akibat adanya kegiatan penimbangan rutin setiap bulan.
