Mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan FIKES UPNVJ Jaga Kesehatan 100 Warga Meruyung
DEPOK– Warga Meruyung di RW11 Kelurahan Meruyung, Kecamatan Limo diperhatikan kesehatannya oleh mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Jakarta. Selama hampir setengah bulan puluhan mahasiswa ini memberikan penyuluhan sekaligus memeriksa kesehatan sebanyak 100 warga.
Dosen pembimbing Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL), Chandra Triwahyudi menjelaskan, penyelenggaraan PKL ini merupakan salah satu syarat bagi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan program studinya menjadi Sarjana Keperawatan.
“Program Kerja Lapangan mutlak harus dijalani setiap mahasiswa. Tahun ini kami memilih wilayah RW11, Kelurahan Meruyung sebagai objek pelaksanaan PKL ” ujar Chandra kepada Harian Radar Depok, kemarin.
Sementara, Lurah Meruyung R. Galih Purnaman mengaku, sangat menyambut baik pelaksanaan PKL Mahasiswa UPN Veteran. Sebab, pelaksanaan ini banyak manfaat yang dapat diperoleh warga. Di RW11 warga bisa mendapatkan tips tentang penataan lingkungan, mendapatkan ilmu tentang penerapan program hidup bersih dan sehat, serta dapat pemeriksaan kesehatan. Sekitar 100 warga yang diberikan penyuluhan dan diperiksa kesehatannya.
