FIKES UPNVJ - The 2024 Public Health Teaching (KEJAR) activity was held in two meetings. The first meeting was held on Saturday, 27 April 2024 and the second meeting was held on Sunday, 12 May 2024 offline at the Swara Peduli Indonesia Foundation, Jakarta, Jl. Bahri Klender Fishing, District. Duren Sawit, East Jakarta City. The theme of the 2024 Teaching Public Health (KEJAR) is "PROTECT: Preserve the Beauty of the Country, With Real, Glorious Efforts!". The aim of this activity is to provide a forum for students to come directly to meet the community as a form of implementation of community service in their Public Health duties. The targets taking part in the 2024 Public Health Teaching (KEJAR) activities are children aged 9-12 years who live in the Klender area, Kec. Duren Sawit, East Jakarta City, with 25 participants.
At the first meeting, the 2024 Public Health Teaching (KEJAR) activity was guided by Alvamuna Khairani Sudarmaji and Rismauli Romaito Sinaga who are active students of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Public Health Study Program as MC. The second meeting was hosted by Rismauli Romaito Sinaga and Haura Shabirah who are active students of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Public Health Study Program as MC.
The material provided at the first meeting was related to Environmental Health and was followed by a presentation on Interactive Media Learning. At the first meeting, each group was given the task of making a video which would later be shown at the second meeting. At the second meeting, the practice of planting trees was carried out. The type of plant planted was the pothos betel plant because it is quite easy to care for and the plant can live using hydroponic techniques and can be placed in used bottles as a planting medium. The final series at the second meeting was the selection of the best group as well as the presentation of souvenirs to the Swara Peduli Indonesia Foundation. (ANA)
