Community Service for Undergraduate Physiotherapy Students with Physiotherapy Lecturers in Collaboration with IFI South Jakarta in Jakarta's 495th Anniversary

FIKES UPNVJ - On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, a community service was held by Physiotherapy undergraduate students together with physiotherapy lecturers in collaboration with IFI South Jakarta branch in the context of the 495th anniversary of DKI Jakarta Province with the theme "Jakarta Celebration". This community service is a form of participation by S1 Physiotherapy students in order to introduce UPNVJ S1 Physiotherapy to the community and prepare accreditation criteria properly in 2023.

Community service activities began with the opening and remarks. Then it was continued with joint gymnastics and health checks in the form of early detection of non-communicable diseases, balance screening, In body, posture checks and consultations carried out by Physiotherapy S1 students with lecturers and IFI South Jakarta. The examination includes data collection, physical activity questionnaire filling, vital signs, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, Inbody (BMI), balance, and posture. After the examination, it is followed by a consultation session on the results of the examination with a physiotherapist who is competent in his field.

The activity went smoothly and achieved the inspection target of more than 100 people. The community felt very enthusiastic and helped by this community service activity to detect non-communicable diseases and hoped that this activity could be held again. The activity ended with a photo with S1 Physiotherapy students, lecturers, and members of IFI South Jakarta.
