FIKES UPNVJ – Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan UPN "Veteran" Jakarta telah melaksanakan kegiatan FIKES Mengabdi 2025 dengan tema  “BERSERI: Bersama Selamatkan Lingkungan dengan Edukasi dan Reduksi Sampah Inovatif” di Kampung Simpak, Kelurahan Jagabaya, Kecamatan Parung Panjang, Kabupaten Bogor. Kegiatan FIKES Mengabdi merupakan program tahunan yang menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk menerapkan ilmu, minat, serta kepedulian sosial dalam bidang kesehatan, lingkungan, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Pada tahun ini, kegiatan FIKES Mengabdi 2025 lolos pendanaan program PPK Ormawa yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) melalui Direktorat Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan (Belmawa).

Kegiatan visit pertama yaitu Sosialisasi FIKES Mengabdi 2025 pada tanggal 26 Juni 2025, tim FIKES Mengabdi melaksanakan kegiatan Sosialisasi Program FIKES Mengabdi kepada para stakeholder dan masyarakat Kampung Simpak. Dalam kegiatan ini, tim menyampaikan penjelasan mengenai timeline pelaksanaan program yang akan dijalankan, serta memaparkan program-program yang akan diimplementasikan, yaitu: Program Pengomposan, Ecoprint, Bank Sampah, Lilin Aromaterapi, Edukasi, dan CEKATAN (Cek Kesehatan dan Aksi Tanggap Donor). Setelah pemaparan, tim membagikan formulir evaluasi kepada masyarakat untuk menilai sejauh mana pemahaman dan ketertarikan mereka terhadap program-program tersebut.

Kegiatan visit kedua dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3–9 Agustus 2025. Kegiatan pembukaan FIKES Mengabdi dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Agustus 2025 secara resmi. Kegiatan ini menjadi momentum awal untuk memperkenalkan rangkaian program FIKES Mengabdi 2025. Acara pembukaan dihadiri oleh dosen dan perwakilan bidang kemahasiswaan UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, Kecamatan beserta jajaran dari pihak kelurahan, serta masyarakat Kampung Simpak. Rangkaian kegiatan diawali dengan sambutan dari pihak kampus yang memberikan apresiasi terhadap inisiatif mahasiswa dalam mengabdi kepada masyarakat. Selanjutnya, dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari pihak kecamatan dan kelurahan yang menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan kebermanfaatan bersama. Melalui kegiatan pembukaan ini, masyarakat mendapatkan gambaran mengenai program-program utama yang akan dijalankan di bulan Agustus, mulai dari penyuluhan pengelolaan dan pengolahan lingkungan, penyuluhan kebugaran tubuh, program kompos, program ecoprint hingga edukasi ke anak anak PAUD.

Kegiatan pengomposan dimulai dengan kegiatan penyuluhan materi yang berkolaborasi dengan Bank Sampah Taman Lontar yang menjelaskan konsep dasar, manfaat, hingga langkah pembuatan pengomposan, lalu dilanjutkan dengan praktik pengolahan sampah organik dengan metode takakura dengan mempelajari cara memilah, mencacah, mencampur, dan mengaduk bahan agar menghasilkan kompos berkualitas. Selanjutnya, tim melakukan tahap awal kegiatan Ecoprint yaitu scouring kain dengan larutan air panas dan soda abu. Proses perebusan selama 30 menit diikuti pembilasan bertujuan agar kain siap menyerap warna alami pada tahap pewarnaan, selanjutnya melaksanakan mordanting dengan merendam kain dalam zat pengikat seperti tawas atau garam besi selama 30–60 menit, lalu membilas dan menjemur di tempat teduh. Selanjutnya  warga Kampung Simpak mengikuti praktik pounding ecoprint dengan mencetak motif daun dan bunga ke 34 totebag menggunakan palu kayu.

Kegiatan edukasi penyuluhan kepada anak-anak PAUD dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan materi yang berbeda setiap harinya, yaitu gizi seimbang melalui tema “Isi Piringku Penuh Warna”, kesehatan gigi dengan tema “Gigi Sehat, Senyum Ceria”, serta kepedulian lingkungan melalui tema “Aku Anak Hebat, Tahu Jenis Sampah!”. Selain penyuluhan, tim panitia FIKES Mengabdi juga mengadakan kegiatan kebersamaan dan interaksi sosial dengan masyarakat Kampung Simpak, yang diwujudkan melalui senam pagi dan senam sore, bermain games, serta pendampingan dalam aktivitas keseharian warga seperti memanen padi, memandikan kerbau, memelihara.

Kegiatan visit ketiga dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7–12 September 2025. Pada kesempatan ini, kegiatan diawali dengan pembentukan Komunitas Bank Sampah Kampung Simpak. Dalam prosesnya, tim FIKES Mengabdi bersama warga setempat melakukan musyawarah untuk menunjuk beberapa perwakilan warga yang bersedia menjadi pengurus bank sampah. Struktur kepengurusan yang dibentuk terdiri atas ketua, sekretaris, bendahara, divisi pemilahan dan pengumpulan, serta divisi pengolahan sampah. Setelah dilakukan pemilihan, ditetapkanlah nama-nama pengurus yang kemudian difinalisasi dan disahkan melalui Surat Keputusan (SK) dari kepala desa agar memiliki legalitas dan dasar yang jelas dalam menjalankan kegiatan Bank Sampah Kampung Simpak.

Kegiatan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dari minyak jelantah diawali dengan penjelasan kepada masyarakat Kampung Simpak mengenai proses pengolahan minyak jelantah. Minyak terlebih dahulu harus direndam selama 24 jam, kemudian dicampurkan dengan stearic acid, pewarna, dan essential oil, lalu dituang ke dalam cetakan yang sudah memiliki sumbu. Tim FIKES Mengabdi melakukan demonstrasi langsung pembuatan lilin aromaterapi sehingga masyarakat dapat melihat tahapan secara nyata sekaligus berlatih bersama. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan baru, tetapi juga mendorong masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga menjadi produk yang bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomis.

Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan program CEKATAN berupa pemeriksaan kesehatan bagi warga Kampung Simpak. Pemeriksaan meliputi tanda vital (tekanan darah, suhu, berat badan, tinggi badan), serta gula darah, kolesterol, dan asam urat. Melalui kegiatan ini, FIKES Mengabdi mengajak masyarakat untuk lebih peduli pada deteksi dini penyakit tidak menular. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan banyak warga memiliki kadar kolesterol dan asam urat tinggi, serta beberapa mengalami hipertensi. Temuan ini menjadi catatan penting bagi masyarakat dan tim untuk meningkatkan pola hidup sehat melalui edukasi gizi seimbang, aktivitas fisik, dan pemantauan kesehatan secara rutin. Program CEKATAN diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mendorong masyarakat untuk lebih peduli terhadap kesehatan diri dan keluarganya.

Kegiatan puncak dari FIKES Mengabdi adalah Peresmian Bank Sampah Kampung Simpak. Acara peresmian ini dihadiri oleh dosen serta perwakilan bidang kemahasiswaan UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, pihak kecamatan beserta jajaran dari kelurahan, perwakilan dari mitra, serta masyarakat Kampung Simpak. Rangkaian acara diawali dengan sambutan dari pihak kampus yang menyampaikan apresiasi atas inisiatif mahasiswa dalam mengabdi kepada masyarakat melalui pembentukan Bank Sampah. Sambutan dilanjutkan oleh perwakilan pemerintah setempat yang menekankan pentingnya keberadaan Bank Sampah sebagai upaya bersama dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat. Sebagai bagian dari acara, dilakukan pemotongan pita, penyerahan plakat, serta penandatanganan MoU dengan mitra, yaitu Bank Sampah Taman Lontar, yang berperan sebagai role model dalam pengelolaan bank sampah. Momen ini menjadi langkah penting untuk memperkuat kerja sama dan mendukung keberlanjutan program. Acara kemudian ditutup dengan sesi foto sebagai bentuk dokumentasi kebersamaan antara mahasiswa, pemerintah, dan masyarakat.

Kegiatan peresmian Bank Sampah turut diiringi dengan pelaksanaan donor darah oleh warga Kampung Simpak bersama panitia FIKES Mengabdi, bekerja sama dengan PMI Kabupaten Tangerang. Tercatat sebanyak 57 pendonor berhasil menyumbangkan darahnya melalui kegiatan sosial ini. Antusiasme warga terlihat dari tingginya partisipasi dalam kegiatan donor darah. Melalui kegiatan ini, FIKES Mengabdi berharap dapat menumbuhkan semangat kepedulian sosial sekaligus memperkuat kesehatan masyarakat dengan aksi nyata yang bermanfaat.

Program FIKES Mengabdi resmi ditutup melalui kegiatan penutupan yang turut dihadiri oleh warga Kampung Simpak. Acara ini diisi dengan pemberian reward kepada sejumlah warga yang telah menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dalam rangkaian program, meliputi pengolahan kompos, ecoprint, lilin aromaterapi, dan Bank Sampah. Pemberian hadiah tersebut menjadi bentuk apresiasi atas keberhasilan warga dalam menghasilkan produk dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan. Selain itu, tim FIKES Mengabdi juga menyerahkan sertifikat penghargaan kepada Kampung Simpak sebagai mitra pelaksanaan program. Suasana penutupan semakin hangat dengan penampilan dari panitia yang berkolaborasi menyanyi bersama warga. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya menandai berakhirnya rangkaian FIKES Mengabdi, tetapi juga memperkuat jalinan kebersamaan dan semangat kolaborasi antara tim pelaksana dan masyarakat. (SYA/MMP)
