Dean's Welcoming Speech

The FIKES extended family that I glorify;

Time passes, the clock keeps turning, but the history of FIKES from "nothing to being" will not disappear from my memory. Allow me to take a brief look at the history, from the beginning there was only the Nursing Academy, D3 Physiotherapy, it joined FK after the establishment of Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Public Health, and finally it became FIKES on October 5 2007 as the youngest faculty at UPNVJ with the addition of the Nutrition study program in 2010. Until now FIKES already has 8 study programs, namely; D3 Nursing, D3 Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Public Health, Nursing, Nutrition, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and Master of Public Health.

Thank God, on various occasions since 2000 I was with him, I received an important message that there are many people who love FIKES, have high hopes for FIKES, and of course are always ready to support FIKES UPNVJ. From this phenomenon, the feeling of love is increasingly growing to want to always advance FIKES together. Until now, in the course of its work, FIKES has contributed to producing graduates who are useful and effective for the life of the nation and state. Thank you and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Wahyu Sulistiadi, MARS as Dean of FIKES for the 2018-2022 term for his various achievements and success in conveying this leadership.

The big FIKES family that I love

In line with the hopes of all stakeholders to realize the vision, mission and goals, on the other hand we are faced with various external changes that are so fast and revolutionary and internally UPNVJ has entered the era of the Public Service Agency (BLU), which requires determining the right strategy and working smartly through transformation and commitment. for always;

Improving the quality of services for students, lecturers, educational staff and all other stakeholders (stakeholders) based on digital and PIKIR (Professional, Integrity, Struggle, Innovation, Responsive) culture which is oriented towards service excellence (service excellence)

Increasing the competitiveness of graduates by providing character-based education through instilling noble morals and national defense values accompanied by mastery of theoretical and practical fields of knowledge so that they can contribute to the problems that exist in society

Oriented towards various efforts to gain reputation recognition for students, lecturers and educational staff as well as institutional recognition at the study program and faculty level at national and international levels

Carry out management based on good governance (good university governance) and implement risk management consistently

To make this happen, a common vision and commitment from the entire FIKES family is needed, such as the quote from Vince Lombardi that "Individual commitment to a group effort, that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work. "

Because without all of that, the Dean and staff don't mean anything. I believe FIKES has great potential to grow even bigger, this has been tested and proven. Starting my duties as dean, I sincerely invite all members of the academic community to share all their abilities to carry out the program in achieving the vision and mission of UPNVJ and FIKES with maximum efforts based on determination and an intention of service to all academic members. Man jada wa jada (whoever is serious, he will definitely succeed)

Finally, we ask for blessings from the Chancellor and staff, UPNVJ professors, and the entire UPNVJ family, especially FIKES, may Allah make us smart in carrying out our duties and carrying out this mandate. May Allah SWT, the Almighty God, give His grace and guidance to all of us, thank God.
