Poster Presentation at The 6^th Asia Pacific Congress of Pediatric Nursing (APCPN)

Titled: Child peer-relationship and social competence by using Interaction Rating Scale for Children (IRSC)

This study is a joint collaboration between Yuri Nurdiantami, S.Farm., Apt., MPH from UPN “veteran” Jakarta with Dr. Emiko Tanaka, Hilda Meriyandah, MPH., Kumi watanabe, MPH., Prof. Tokie anme from University of Tsukuba Japan; Dr. Etsuko Tomisaki from Keio University., Dr. Taeko Watanabe from Shukutoku University dan Dr. Yuko Sawada from Morinomiya University of Medical Sciences.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship of behavioral problem and social competence of children using Interaction Rating Scale for children.

This study found that social competence assessed by IRSC observationally well reflect to teacher reported children’s daily prosocial behavior and difficulty on daily peer relationship.
